Muto Support
Muto is designed to be a straightforward local utility: add a supported file, choose an output, and convert it on your device.
Installation
Install Muto from its official distribution source. If you keep a downloadable ownership copy, store that package somewhere you control.
Using Muto
- Open Muto.
- Drop or choose a supported file.
- Select a conversion option.
- Run the conversion locally.
- Save the resulting file.
Privacy
Your selected files are intended to be processed locally. Muto does not require an account or upload files to Muto-operated conversion servers. Read the privacy policy for details.
Common Issues
If a conversion fails, first confirm the file is not corrupted and that the format is supported by your installed Muto version. Large media files can also be limited by available device memory or browser capabilities.

For now, support can be requested through the project's GitHub repository. A dedicated Muto support email can be added here later without changing how the extension processes files.
